Studies
Dr. George Parpas completed his studies in General Medicine at the University of Medicine of Dijon (France) and then continued his specialization in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the University Hospital of Amiens (France).
During his specialization, he worked in the Department of Pediatrics – Neonatology at the University Hospital of Amiens, in the Department of General Surgery at the Beauvais Hospital (Paris), and subsequently obtained the title of Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics from the University Hospital of Amiens.

After completing his studies (1994), he worked as an Assistant Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics (Chef de Clinique – Assistant) for two years, simultaneously teaching medical students at the University of Amiens.
Dr. Parpas has maintained his private practice in Paphos for the past 25 years, specializing in both gynecology and obstetrics.
Now located at Iasis Hospital in Paphos, he is assisted by Mdme Louiza Karolidou, a dedicated front desk coordinator, who welcomes every patient and ensures each visit runs smoothly.
Speciality
In the field of gynecology, he offers consultations and diagnostic approaches regarding uterine, ovarian, and fallopian tube conditions.
He mainly focuses on issues of infertility and in vitro fertilization (IVF), including ovulation monitoring, intrauterine insemination, and preparation for IVF.
In obstetrics, he provides pregnancy follow-up, management of pathological pregnancies (such as preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, etc.), and deliveries — both natural and cesarean — while primarily promoting natural childbirth. He is also experienced in assisted vaginal delivery using forceps or vacuum extraction.
